One row per country or territory: ISO codes, continent, the UN baseline population and date, growth, birth, death, infant-mortality and net-migration rates, sex ratio, life expectancy, median age — the exact inputs the live counters run on — plus the live population estimate at the time the file was generated.

Latest value per country with its data year and source

Columns: rank, country, iso3, value, unit, year, source, retrieved. Countries whose latest figure is more than 12 years old are left out, exactly as on the ranking pages.

The files may be used for any purpose, including commercial work, teaching and journalism, on one condition: credit Glostats with a link to glostats.com (or to the ranking page the file came from). The underlying figures remain subject to their publishers' terms — UN World Population Prospects (CC BY 3.0 IGO) and World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0).
